Role: Project Test Lead
Location: Solihull - Hybrid
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Test Lead to join a global organisation located within commutable distance from Birmingham, Coventry, and surrounding areas. This is a hybrid role requiring visits to the office 3 days a week, ideal for those who enjoy collaborating in an office environment.
You will be responsible for planning all test phases, tracking progress, and managing an effective testing process. This includes coordinating with Project Managers, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors, as well as managing internal test resources, cycles, and artefacts across multiple projects.
Skills and Experience
1. Coordinate vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure testing obligations are met in line with contracts, strategy, and schedule.
2. Manage creation and implementation of test plans, test data, and test cases/scripts.
3. Coordinate defect resolution and manage re-test dates based on priority, severity, and timelines.
4. Provide test execution progress and defect metrics to stakeholders in appropriate formats and frequencies.
Your Experience
1. Experience leading multiple concurrent test cycles (both technical and business).
2. Methodical approach to closing out testing cycles.
3. Understanding of technical system architecture.
4. Strong written and oral communication skills.
5. Experience working in cross-functional teams; able to describe tools and techniques for stakeholder collaboration during testing cycles.
6. Experience managing system implementations (desirable).
