Job Responsibilities: The role involves but is not limited to:- Assemble and fit mechanical parts and machined components, following engineering drawings and CAD detail Assemble and fit pneumatic and controls/sensor systems to assembly fixtures, robot grippers and automation based components Install and integrate assembly fixtures, robot grippers and automation based components Support installation of full assembly cells both at MAA during commissioning phases and also at customer when required Installation: Interpreting drawings and CAD data to support fitting of robots, guarding, fixtures, services cabinets and trunking. Including laying where applicable communications and pneumatic/electrical cabling Collaborate with toolmakers, fabricators, fitters and engineers including leadership team to deliver and automation, casting and improvement projects Support when required Casting die fitting activities including dis-assembly and re-assembly of pipework and steels Involvement in problem solving (CI) activities and development of skill to support business improvement philosophy and MAFACT requirements To adhere to all Health & Safety responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Participate in training sessions and development programs as and when required Any other duties as reasonably requested.
