About the role
This Behaviour Support Worker role involves supporting groups of children with additional needs such as ASD, PMLD, MLD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will work within group and 1:1 settings with children of various ages and learning levels.
Your daily routine will involve adapting your approach to support pupils, ensuring their time in school is beneficial and productive. Your main goal is to support these pupils and prevent triggers or signs of unease, requiring a nurturing, patient, and empathetic attitude.

The school aims to appoint a passionate Behaviour Support Worker to work with SEN children in small groups and 1:1 settings.

Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play, or care setting within the last 2 years.
* Ability to obtain valid references from these roles.
* Hold or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, registered with the Update Service.
