Senior Financial Controller - Manufacturing SME Location: Tewkesbury - office based Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 (potentially more) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Financial Controller to join a growing manufacturing SME and lead the finance function with real influence and autonomy. We're looking for a commercially minded individual who can develop the team and provide accurate and timely financial control alongside commercially-focused insight to support strategic decision-making. A brief summary of responsibilities Produce accurate monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts Lead and develop the finance team Provide commercial insight to support pricing, contracts, and margin improvement Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial stability Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis Strengthen financial governance, controls, and compliance Partner with senior leaders to support growth and operational efficiency About you ACA, ACCA or CIMA-qualified Strong management accounting background within manufacturing 3-5 years' experience in a senior finance role Proven leadership and commercial partnering experience Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Confident communicator with board‑level exposure
