Job Title – Façade Manager
Project – Bespoke Commercial Envelopes
Job Location – West Yorkshire (Weekly Travel)
Salary – £50K - £60K b.o.e
About the Company
Industry leading Main Contractor who specialises in unique projects across UK Tier 1 Cities.
The Façade Manager will be responsible for running packages valued p to £10M.
This façade manager will have experience delivering Facade/Envelope packages for bespoke buildings/ design and build projects.
The Role
* Ensure that project design solutions are delivered to the highest standards and meet client standards
* Provide Technical support to the Project Team and host weekly meetings to update on progress
* Manage the successful installation and delivery of the whole building envelope
* Co-ordination of the supply chain procurement process
* Assist with build ability issues and value engineering related to the external envelope.
* Manage meetings with the design team and specialist contractors
* Oversee the relevant Site Managers driving the on-site delivery
* Maintain a continuous focus on Health & Safety and Quality Assurance
* Deliver projects on time and within budget
Requirements
* A Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or relevant Trades Qualification
* Strong Engineering / Trades / Building Background
* Demonstrable record of successfully delivering Commercial Façade Envelopes valued £3M+
* Experience of planning and monitoring technical project programmes to budgets and resources ensuring delivery to time and cost constraints
* Experience with Rainscreen, Cladding, Curtain walling, Facades and Roofing systems
* IT and standard industry software skills
* Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff and clients
* Experience of managing and developing a team
