My Client is a specialist MEP contractor delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical and public health installations across complex commercial, aviation and infrastructure projects. Due to ongoing works at Heathrow Airport, we are seeking an experienced BIM Technician (MEP) to support our project delivery team on a live aviation scheme.
Role Overview
This is a contract position based at Heathrow Airport, supporting the coordination and delivery of MEP services within a live aviation environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and managing coordinated 3D models, ensuring clash-free installations, and supporting site teams with accurate, buildable information.
Experience working on airport or live infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, update and manage detailed MEP Revit models.
Produce coordinated installation drawings for site delivery.
Carry out clash detection using Navisworks (or similar software).
Ensure models align with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
Manage documentation via 4iii Design / 4Projects or other CDE platforms.
Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors and site management teams.
Attend coordination meetings and resolve design clashes.
Ensure drawing revisions and updates are controlled and issued correctly. Key Requirements
Proven experience as an MEP BIM Technician / BIM Coordinator.
Advanced proficiency in Revit (MEP essential).
Experience using 4iii Design / 4Projects (or similar CDE systems).
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
Previous experience on aviation, infrastructure or complex commercial projects preferred.
Ability to work within a live, security-controlled environment. Desirable
Previous experience working at Heathrow or other UK airports.
Familiarity with airside/landside project constraints.
Knowledge of BIM Level 2 standards. Contract Details
