An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Part-time Business Support Administrator (Monday to Wednesday) within the Council Support administrative team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to assist with a varied and interesting range of duties. The successful candidate will provide dedicated administrative support to the Facilities Management Team, as well as ad hoc support to other areas of the team as required., To provide advanced and comprehensive administrative support within the relevant area of East Lothian Council.
This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel, alongside excellent customer service skills. Strong communication and numeracy abilities are essential, as is the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workload, and confidence in working independently. A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service is essential. Flexibility is key, as duties may evolve in response to the changing needs of the team., Educated to HNC/SVQ3 in Administration or Information Management or equivalent and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.

The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £16.14 - £17.24
