Chef Wine Bar Kitchen
We are seeking an experienced and confident chef to run a single-chef kitchen within our independent wine bar.
The menu is centred around seasonal small plates, all prepared on site, alongside a carefully curated selection of British cheeses and charcuterie. This is a well-organised, calm working environment with a strong focus on quality rather than volume.
Key responsibilities
Managing all aspects of a one-person kitchen operation
Preparing and serving seasonal small plates to a high standard
Working with British cheeses, cured meats, and fresh produce
Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation
Working closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a smooth service
The ideal candidate
Comfortable and confident running a kitchen independently
Well organised, reliable, and consistent
Passionate about simple, seasonal food done well
Experience with small plates or similar concepts preferred
Calm, professional, and capable during service
Hours & remuneration
3040 hours per week
£12.71 to £13.50 per hour (experience dependent) plus service charge (typically an additional £2£3 per hour )
