This CFO appointment represents a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of wealth management and purpose-led investing. As a key strategic partner to the principals, the CFO will lead the finance function, overseeing consolidated reporting, liquidity planning, and financial operations across a complex, multi-jurisdictional structure that includes trusts, SPVs, corporate entities, and charitable organisations. The role combines traditional financial leadership with active engagement in investment oversight, business performance, and long-term financial planning. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in philanthropy and the positive impact of private capital. They will play an integral role in supporting the family’s charitable endeavours, ensuring financial frameworks and governance structures are aligned with the mission, transparent in execution, and sustainable in the long term. In addition to financial stewardship, the CFO will support succession planning, risk management, and the structuring of estates and trusts in collaboration with legal and tax advisors. The role requires a forward-thinking, values-led approach, as well as the ability to operate with discretion and independence while building trusted relationships across the principal’s internal and external network. This is a hands-on, highly trusted position best suited to a finance leader who not only brings technical strength and commercial acumen but also shares the organisation’s’ passion for long-term value creation and giving back through meaningful philanthropic engagement. The ideal candidate: • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) with a strong technical foundation and demonstrable experience at CFO or senior finance leadership level • Background in a private family office, privately held group, or SME with complex ownership and investment structures • Proven commercial acumen, including experience evaluating and managing private investments, operating businesses, and real estate assets • Strong understanding of multi-jurisdictional structures, including trusts, SPVs, and charitable foundations • Experience supporting estate planning, intergenerational wealth transfer, and philanthropic governance • Comfortable working autonomously in a discreet, highly confidential environment, with exceptional judgement and interpersonal sensitivity • Technically proficient in financial modelling, systems development, and reporting, with a strong grasp of risk and regulatory frameworks Due to the high level of applications, we can only reply to those candidates with relevant experience.
