We’re recruiting compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants for permanent opportunities across specialist and mainstream schools in Leeds and Wakefield starting this September.
These schools are looking for people who can bring patience, structure, kindness, and calm energy into the classroom every day.
The role includes:
* Supporting pupils with additional needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs
* Working 1:1 and in small groups
* Supporting emotional regulation and classroom engagement
* Building trusting relationships with pupils and staff
* Helping pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn
You’ll need:
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
* A calm and positive approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Team Teach or Thrive training is helpful, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
