Our client, a leading Civil Engineering and Infrastructure specialist, is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team in Rickmansworth. Responsibilities: Promote and maintain a strong health, safety, and environmental culture in line with company policies and legal requirements. Ensure all work is delivered safely and in full compliance with environmental and company procedures. Uphold quality standards by delivering defect-free work and promoting best practices. Identify and implement value engineering opportunities to improve efficiency and outcomes. Establish and manage survey control and setting out of works according to contract drawings. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with organisational and legal documentation requirements. Resolve technical issues or unforeseen site challenges efficiently. Prepare procurement schedules and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure adequate site resources. Produce and manage ITPs, Task Briefings, two-week lookaheads, site diaries, and allocation sheets in coordination with the Site Agent. Required Experiences: Proven experience in setting out on civil engineering projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and relevant regulations. Proficient in using robotic total stations and EDM instruments. Degree or HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering. Excellent communication skills with a proactive, results-driven attitude. Experience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (desirable). Knowledge or experience in temporary works coordination (desirable). Valid CSCS card (desirable). Training in cable avoidance, first aid, and NEBOSH or IOSH certification (desirable).
