About the Role: -Fixed Wire Test Engineer Reading, Berkshire
Were growing and looking for experienced electricians to join our successful team in the Reading area. As a Fixed Wire EICR Test Engineer, youll be responsible for:
* Performing Fixed Wire Testing (EICRs), Emergency Lighting Tests, Fire Alarm Inspections, Thermal Imaging, and minor remedials
* Completing reports and certifications using our cloud-based system
* Delivering high standards of safety, service, and technical compliance
* Travelling to customer sites across the region, with occasional overnight stays
What Were Looking For:
* SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2360/2330 Parts 1 & 2, or equivalent NVQ Level 3
* 18th Edition (City & Guilds)
* 2391 / 2394 & 2395 Inspection & Testing certification
* AM2 Qualification
* Experience in electrical testing, inspection, and installation work
* Flexibility to work 40 hours a week, including some twilight shifts
* Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points)
* IPAF 3a & 3b licence preferred
* Good IT skills and understanding of Health & Safety standards
