Castlefield is proud to be working with a successful community service provider with the appointment of an Audiologist.
The successful Audiologist will be a dedicated and compassionate member of the healthcare team, and be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating hearing and balance disorders. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing specialised audiological care within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests for adult services
* Provide assessments for routine planned follow ups
* Counsel patients and families on hearing health, treatment options, and device use
* Provide hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and follow-up care
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
* Stay current with advancements in audiology and hearing technology
Requirements
* Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D. preferred)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Commitment to compassionate, patient-first care
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
