The Opportunity This role sits within a well-established and ranked trade mark practice, working closely with senior Trade Mark Attorneys and the wider IP team. The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of trade mark and design matters, supporting clients across industries including fashion, entertainment, e-sports, e-commerce, media and technology. You will be involved in high-quality, often cutting-edge work, including non-traditional marks and emerging brand protection issues, and will be given early responsibility within a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Advising on registrability and filing strategy Drafting trade mark specifications Conducting clearance searches Managing UK and international trade mark and design portfolios Handling objections, oppositions and cancellations Preparing evidence, submissions and reports Instructing and coordinating overseas counsel Drafting and reviewing coexistence and related agreements Managing assignments, recordals and audits Supporting client reporting, billing and relationship development Candidate Profile Newly qualified to 1 year PQE Chartered Trade Mark Attorney Highly organised, detail-oriented and commercially minded Strong client-facing and communication skills Enthusiastic about trade mark law and career development Package Competitive salary and benefits, with clear progression and exposure to high-quality work within a supportive, high-performing team.
