Freelance Architectural Technician Opportunity
Perfect for Part 1 or Part 2 Architecture Students

Connor Ferris Architects is a design-led, residential architecture practice working across Essex and the South East. We are looking for a talented and detail-driven Freelance Architectural Technician to support our growing team.
This role is ideal for Part 1 or Part 2 architecture students seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic and flexible environment. You will work on measured surveys and prepare existing drawing packages to support project delivery.
Role Responsibilities:
* Undertake measured surveys and produce existing drawings
* Support early-stage design packages as part of internal project set-up
* Collaborate with architects to meet project timelines
* Apply technical knowledge to align with RIBA Work Stages
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work
* Excellent technical and design skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and SketchUp
* Strong communication and presentation abilities
* Self-motivated and highly organized with great attention to detail
* Ability to manage deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively
* Must be Essex-based or willing to travel for surveys (travel costs considered)
