Hospital Details
Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts - Central Campus, located in Rochdale, MA, is a 47-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you get to know your patients and their families.
Responsibilities
Responsible for delivering efficient, high-quality patient care. Manage and coordinate nursing service activities for the scheduled shift, in accordance with hospital philosophy, objectives, and policies. Collaborate with staff and management to develop systems and procedures for daily operations, and provide training, information, and support to solve problems and meet objectives.
Required Skills
* Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
* Current, valid, and active RN license in the state of employment required.
* Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
Additional Qualifications/Skills
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Critical care experience preferred.
* Three (3) years of experience in an acute care setting preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
* CCRN certification preferred.
* Ability to project a professional image.
* Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
* Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
* Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
* Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
* Free from illegal drug use and effects of substance use in the workplace.
