"We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join our team and create impactful business intelligence solutions. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that drive data-driven decision-making."
Please note this is a hybrid role, with the expectation of working at our office in Bradley Stoke (BS32 4QQ) or another NRS site a minimum of two days per week.
Key Deliverables
* Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all BI solutions.
* Implement data models and schemas to support reporting needs.
* Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
* Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
* Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure optimal performance.
* Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
* Integrate Power BI with other data sources and systems.
* Document BI processes and solutions for future reference.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience (essential).
* Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query (essential).
* Experience with SQL and relational databases (essential).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (essential).
* Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes (desirable).
* Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) (desirable).
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills (essential).
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks (essential).
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) (desirable).
