About Our Client
The client is a large Indian conglomerate which is heavily expanding in the renewable energy space. They have a presence at a pan-India level and are looking to scale up the renewable energy business in the coming years.
Job Description
The key responsibilities are -
3. Develop and implement business development strategies to build the C&I business in West and South India
4. Identify potential clients and build strong relationships to drive growth in the C&I segment.
5. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive strategies across multiple industries.
6. Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
7. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term partnerships.
8. Monitor and report on sales performance and pipeline progress regularly.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain high standards of service delivery.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Regional Manager - BD C&I should have:
10. Atleast 8+ years of experience in the business development in the renewable energy space, specifically focusing on C&I clients
11. A strong background in sales or business development in the open access space in renewable energy
12. Independently and successfully concluded long term C&I power sale recently
13. Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
14. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
15. Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning.
16. A results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving targets.
