Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Location: London, Hybrid 1 day a week About The Role My client are seeking a Senior BI Analyst to join their growing Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience working with SQL and complex datasets, strong hands-on expertise with Looker, and solid knowledge of ELT processes. You will play a critical role in shaping data-driven decisions, collaborating with business stakeholders, analysts, and data engineers to deliver scalable, accurate, and impactful insights. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and reports in Looker that drive actionable insights for business stakeholders Write and optimize complex SQL queries to analyze large, intricate datasets Partner closely with data engineers to define data requirements, ensure data quality, and optimize ELT pipelines Translate business requirements into technical specifications for reporting and data models Develop and maintain data models in Looker (LookML) to ensure reusability and consistency Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and contribute to best practices in BI and data visualization Qualifications 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to handle complex queries and large datasets Proven experience building dashboards and data models in Looker (Not Looker studio or LookML experience required) Good understanding of ELT processes and experience working with data engineers on data pipelines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment is a plus
