Receptionist
Ivanhoe Hotel is an award winning 29 bedroom hotel, located on the outskirts of Belfast. The hotel owners, the Maguire family, have reinvested extensively in the property in recent years, resulting in a spacious, stylish restaurant, two large, beautifully designed function areas and a range of modern bedrooms with every comfort our visitors require.

As Receptionist you will have a fully flexible approach as working patterns will include days, evenings, nights and weekends as required. Reporting to Donna Maguire, our Front Office Manager, you will feel comfortable working as part of our close knit team and independently.
Your responsibilities:
As the face of Ivanhoe Hotel, this role includes but is not limited to:
* Ensuring each guest receives an exceptional experience at the Ivanhoe Hotel from check in to departure and everything in between
* Managing all arriving guests pre-stay and in-stay requirements
* Management of all additional guest service requirements including accommodation, restaurant and all other bookings
* Ensuring all guest extras and upsells are delivered to an excellent standard
* Overview of all guest charges and payments according to services provided
* Reviewing guest satisfaction levels and feedback, focusing on continued enhancement of the guest experience while resolving all customer complaints
* Ensuring that occupancy is maximised while promoting the services available in the Ivanhoe Hotel
* Maintaining good communication and working relationships with all departments to ensure excellent service delivery across the hotel
What do we need from you?
* At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within a customer facing role delivering exceptional experiences for your customers
* Proven track record of providing exceptional customer care
* High level of IT proficiency and knowledge of property management systems
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to think on your feet, to make decisions, solve problems and take responsibility
* Good organisational skills so you're prepared for every occasion
