Salary: £33,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements: We need a senior-level data engineer with strong hands-on experience in SQL and data modelling. We need experience with the Azure data stack, including ADF, Synapse, Fabric, and Databricks. We need experience building ETL and ELT pipelines. We value experience with Python and PySpark, ideally. We need experience with DBT or similar data transformation tools. We need experience with orchestration tools such as ADF, Airflow, or Prefect. We need experience using CI/CD, Git, and Azure DevOps. Responsibilities: We will have you design, build, and improve secure data processing services. We will have you build and maintain data pipelines and transformation processes. We will have you support data ingestion, validation, and processing workflows. We will have you design and maintain data models. We will have you improve data quality, metadata, and documentation. We will have you support onboarding of new data sets. We will have you create secure, repeatable data engineering processes. We will have you resolve BAU issues and help ensure platform stability. We will have you work across engineering, governance, and infrastructure teams. We will have you support a secure cloud-based data environment handling sensitive data for research and analytical outcomes.
