Our Estates Team plays a vital role in keeping this unique environment running smoothly all year round.
As an Estates Technician, youll be involved in a wide range of practical tasks, from maintenance and small repairs to moving equipment, setting up for events, and supporting planned works. Youll work across all areas of the site, including classrooms, boarding houses, sports facilities and offices. The role also includes assisting with deliveries, managing waste and responding to day-to-day issues as they arise. Depending on your experience, you may also support with coordinating tasks or guiding others in the team.
This is a full-time, year-round role with a 39-hour week worked on a rota, including some weekends.
About you
Youll be someone who takes pride in practical work and can be relied on to get things done to a high standard. A background in maintenance, trades, or another physical role will be helpful. Youll need to be comfortable with varied tasks, able to work independently and as part of a team, and confident in responding to day-to-day priorities.
If you bring experience from a similar role, you may also be asked to take on additional leadership responsibilities including helping to organise daily work and supporting colleagues on shift.
