Role overview:
Based in London, reporting to the UK and DACH PR and Communications Manager, the PR & Communications Assistant Manager will help grow eToro’s presence and protect its reputation, supporting the wider PR team. As part of a global team of 6, this role involves specific responsibilities to avoid being purely administrative. There is significant scope for progression, with the goal that the right candidate will eventually manage one or more PR markets in partnership with local agencies.
Main tasks/responsibilities:
* Support multiple markets and business areas: assist with daily contact with local PR agencies, support production of updates for global PR evaluation, draft and review communications (press releases, market commentary, positioning statements, Q&As, briefing notes, internal news).
* Collaborate on surveys and reports.
Press office functions include:
* Assist with media requests, promote opportunities from PR agencies or in-house ideas, manage distribution of analyst commentary, coordinate media opportunities, organize media events, and support award submissions.
Monitor and manage eToro’s reputation globally by:
* Reviewing press clippings, handling journalist requests, identifying story opportunities, and updating the media centre.
Act as a key part of the global PR team by:
* Providing support across markets, coordinating between local marketing and PR teams, liaising with regional managers, and promoting PR successes within eToro.
Requirements:
* At least 12 months of PR experience (in-house or agency).
* Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
* Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
* Understanding of fintech and financial services is advantageous.
* Proactive, solutions-oriented, responsible attitude.
