Technology Business Manager / CTO Office ManagerSheffield - hybrid£550-600pd (inside IR35)6 month initial contract with strong potential for extensionWe are looking to onboard an experienced Technology COO Manager / CTO Office Manager to support a large-scale technology organisation within a leading global financial services environment.This is a highly visible role working closely with senior technology leadership across a global function spanning platforms, engineering, architecture and emerging technology teams.The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, supporting workforce strategy, financial management, governance, operational effectiveness and organisational transformation initiatives across a complex technology environment.This role combines elements of Technology COO, Business Management, Operations Management and Internal Consulting, making it ideally suited to candidates who enjoy solving problems, driving improvements and operating at the intersection of strategy and execution.Key Responsibilities Partner with senior technology leaders to support the effective operation of a large global technology organisationDrive workforce planning, organisational design and resource management activitiesSupport large-scale hiring and workforce growth initiatives, helping to improve recruitment, onboarding and resource management processesSupport budgeting, forecasting, financial management and cost optimisation initiativesLead operational improvement and process optimisation activities across the function, including workforce and hiring-related processesProduce executive-level reporting, presentations and management informationCoordinate governance activities and support senior stakeholder forumsSupport portfolio oversight, delivery tracking and organisational planning activitiesWork closely with Finance, Procurement, HR and Risk teams to drive operational excellenceBuild strong relationships with senior stakeholders and provide constructive challenge where requiredDrive accountability, follow-through and execution across multiple prioritiesKey Requirements Strong experience within Technology COO, CTO Office, CIO Office, Technology Business Management or Technology Operations functionsExperience supporting senior technology leaders within large-scale enterprise environmentsDemonstrable experience in workforce planning, governance, financial management and operational leadershipProven track record delivering process improvement, organisational transformation or operational efficiency initiativesExperience improving workforce, recruitment or hiring processes within large-scale organisations would be advantageousStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadersBanking/Financial Services or management consulting backgroundExcellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skillsExperience operating within highly regulated or complex global organisationsStrong financial and commercial awarenessSuitable Backgrounds Likely to suit candidates currently working within Technology COO, CTO Office, CIO Office or Technology Business Management functions in large banking or financial services organisations.
