Position Objectives
Kyalami Schools seeks to appoint an experienced Debtors manager who will be responsible for the billing and collection of all school fees, ensuring that amounts owed to the school are collected on time and in full. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
* Debtors – ensuring timely collection of fees and correct allocation of receipts
* Internal controls – support the CFO in designing, optimising and implementing internal systems, processes, policies and procedures in relation to billing and collections
* Stakeholder management – foster and maintain a good relationship with all relevant stakeholders especially customers
* Admissions – support the Admissions department in reviewing prospective new customers and set up new customers
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree or National Diploma in financial management or accounting
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in Debtors Control Management
* Experience in the education sector would be an advantage
* Experience in a shared services environment would be an advantage
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Team player with good communications skills.
* Collaboration: Work effectively with work colleagues at all levels.
