Offer description

Digital Content Producer, Technology

£38,000 - £40,000

Remote, once a month in London

This is an opportunity to join LeadDev in a varied and strategic role, working with clients to produce captivating multimedia campaigns and events, enabling them to connect with new audiences.

We are currently a close team of 30 people. A small team means that everyone has a valuable role in the business and is integral to our continuing growth and success. We operate in a remote-first culture and understand the importance of autonomy over your work. Our team is based all over the UK, and we come together in person on a monthly basis.

Reporting to the Editor in Chief and working closely with the content, sales, marketing, and ops teams, the Digital Content Producer leads the delivery of high-quality content that addresses both client goals and audience needs. You'll be joining at an exciting time, as the digital side of our business continues to grow quickly.

Who are we?

LeadDev is the home for engineering leadership. We provide the leaders of the tech industry with a variety of content that drives them to be better and build better. Through articles, panel discussions, research reports, roundtables, and both virtual and in-person conferences, LeadDev has become an essential destination for engineering leaders who want to scale themselves and create impact.

Key Responsibilities

Designing content that meets the needs of our audience and sponsors, Commissioning and acquiring authors and speakers, and producing in-depth editorial research reports.

Working with clients to find topics that deliver on their goals for the campaign, ensuring the smooth delivery of all content elements of a campaign, from standalone online panel discussions to research reports.

Developing a deep understanding of our audience’s content needs, researching the challenges engineering teams face and anticipating their future needs. Ensure that digital content is informed by user research, evaluation, web statistics and trends.

Experience

You'll have some background in digital content production, content marketing, or journalism. Enough to know how to take a brief and turn it into something an audience actually wants to read, watch, or attend.

Experience with multimedia formats is a plus, though we're more interested in how you think about content than how many formats you've ticked off.

We're looking for knowledge or curiosity about how software developer teams work and what they care about.

You'll be comfortable managing client relationships. Setting expectations, managing feedback, and keeping a campaign on track without losing the quality of what's being produced.
