Job Description
As Regional Store Sales Controller, you are responsible for driving the financial development of the EU store channel, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. In this role, you will design, implement, and follow up on operational strategies to optimise current performance and identify future business opportunities.
What you will do:
* Define and communicate both short- and long-term strategies, operational budgets, and financial plans across all areas of the region, ensuring alignment with the brand's overall strategy.
* Deliver financial analyses, reporting, and follow-ups to identify future business needs and opportunities.
* Monitor and ensure accuracy in planning, service levels, and operational efficiency in line with annual, monthly, and weekly budgets and company objectives.
* Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop Area Teams, providing guidance on controlling-related matters and collaborating with Talent Management to support succession planning.
* Support and coach Area Teams in aligning sales planning and scheduling to enhance efficiency and elevate the customer experience.
* Work closely with HR on staffing, recruitment, and training initiatives to ensure operational excellence and a consistent customer experience.
* Collaborate with Concept Merchandisers to guide Area Teams in driving commercial performance and reducing markdown costs in stores.
* Build strong cross-functional relationships with relevant departments within the central COS organisation and the H&M Group to optimise and grow the business through store channels.

What you need to succeed:
* Proven experience in controlling or a similar analytical role.
* Preferably experienced in retail store operations.
* Demonstrated success in a senior leadership position, with the ability to plan strategically and inspire teams with a clear vision.
* Strong sales orientation and results-driven mindset.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence others.
* Collaborative team player with a track record of building strong working relationships.
* Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
* Proactive and able to take initiative independently.
* Highly analytical and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, advance in Excel
* Preferably previous experience working with PowerBI

In this role you will have some flexibility to work remotely however due to the high level of cross department collaborations approx. 3 days per week office presence is required to foster strong collaborations and team work.
