Job Title: Assistant Manager Reports to: Community Manager Direct Reports: Up to 4 Working Hours: 45 hours/week, including weekends Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and customer-focused Assistant Manager to support the launch and operations of a brand-new Co-Living development in South West London opening in September 2025. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in the mobilisation and day-to-day running of the site, with a strong emphasis on leasing and resident experience. Key Responsibilities Leasing (Primary Focus): Supports leasing efforts to reach 98% occupancy Manages listings, enquiries, and resident screening Oversees the resident journey from enquiry to move-in Handles lease renewals and provides lettings performance updates Operational Mobilisation: Assists with pre-opening activities including compliance and supplier onboarding Helps ensure the building is ready for launch Resident Services: Acts as a key point of contact for residents Supports move-in/move-out processes and maintains accurate records Assists in delivering events and fostering community engagement Property & Compliance: Helps maintain high building standards and cleanliness Supports health & safety and operational compliance Team & Finance Support: Aids in contractor coordination and cost control Assists with arrears management and invoice processing
