Your Role
As Senior Management Accountant, youll be the strategic financial partner across three dynamic business areas and two high-impact contracts. Youll be the go-to expert for Operations and General Managersbuilding trusted relationships and delivering sharp, actionable financial insights that drive performance. This high-profile role demands agility and precision. Youll tackle financial challenges head-on, balancing project work with business-as-usual operations. Your expertise will uncover cost efficiencies and shape key recommendations that influence decision-making at the top. Your Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth financial analysis to ensure that the contract solution remains appropriate and effective, areas of concern are identified and addressed, continuous improvement opportunities are acted upon and required changes in business practice are introduced accordingly
Completion of month end management accounts along with c onducting monthly reviews with Contract Managers
Prepare accurate and informed monthly rolling forecasts with Department Managers together with Ad hoc month end analysis to support Financial Controller
Design and produce accounts packs for new contracts within the Division whilst also reviewingbalance sheet reconciliations
Creation and maintenance of management reporting spreadsheets alongside preparing contract budget packs
Aid Business Development to prepare costings for new business proposals
Your Skills and Experiences This role is more about your experience than qualifications
Commercial acumen and showconviction in own judgement
Adapts communication style to suit audience
Draws logical conclusions from available information
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages
Logistics background preferred but not essential
