This is an exciting opportunity for you to be responsible for the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent. You will be involved in the full asset lifecycle, from initial site identification, negotiation, and land/site acquisition, to leading a team through planning, construction, and ongoing asset management. Developing relationships with landlords, tenants, local authorities, agents, and developers is essential.
You will own the full development and planning process from concept to completion, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Please note, you will be expected to work at our Gravesend (Northfleet) Property Office or in your designated area at least 3 days a week.
Internally, this role is called Senior Acquisitions Consultant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identifying, negotiating, and acquiring freehold and leasehold deals for new stores
* Conducting site inspections, development appraisals, and managing due diligence
* Managing planning applications from submission to approval
* Leading expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects
* Building relationships with authorities, agents, landlords, tenants, and developers
* Managing the full development and planning process from start to finish
* Real estate management of freehold and leasehold assets
Requirements:
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
* Degree-level education (minimum 2:2), preferably in a relevant field
* Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, commercial property, or town planning
* MRICS qualification is preferred
* Strong negotiation skills and a well-developed network
* Sound legal and commercial property knowledge
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Analytical mindset
* Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Full driving license and willingness to travel within the UK
