CNC Miller Setter/Operator
Paying up to £14.00 to £15.00 dependant on experience
Hours of work: 08:00-16:45 Mon to Thurs & 08:00 - 12:00 Friday
Overtime available at an enhanced rate
The role is based in Wellingborough and is commutable from Northampton, Rushden and surrounding areas.
Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector
The Role: Quality Inspector
To visually inspect a component to ensure it meets acceptance standards.
Physically measure components and tools to ensure they meet design and standard specifications.
Strictly follow planning sheets/work instructions for the inspection activity
To identify and report all non-conformances and follow quality procedures.
To liaise with the production operators regarding quality requirements to drive continuous improvement.
Minimum Skills / Experience Required: Quality Inspector
Experience with quality inspection in an engineering environment
Experience in using standard measuring equipment ( Digital Calipers, Micrometers, Plug Gauges etc)
Good computer literacy with a competent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Able to read engineering drawings
Good communication skills
