Safety and Risk Assistant - HMP Forest Bank Are you looking for a challenge in health, safety, and risk management? Sodexo is seeking a Safety & Risk Assistant to support the Safety & Risk Manager in ensuring compliance with Fire, Health, Safety & Environmental regulations at HMP Forest Bank. This role involves administrative management, accident investigations, and promoting a safe working environment. We are also offering a competitive salary of 25,997.91 rising to 27,324.39 after 1 years service. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support, including managing DATIX, safety files, and noticeboards. Assist with health & safety training, accident investigations, and claims management. Support compliance with fire safety, health & safety legislation, and Sodexo policies. Maintain and update the HMP Forest Bank Health & Safety & Fire Action Plans. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders. What We're Looking For: Essential: Level 2 Health & Safety & Food Safety qualification (or working towards it). Awareness of Fire & Health & Safety legislation. Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office) and attention to detail. Excellent planning, organization, and interpersonal skills. Security clearance and a valid driving license. Desirable: IOSH Membership, Level 3 Health & Safety qualification. Experience in fire, health & safety, audits, or custodial environments.
