Overview

Responsibilities
* Apply technical knowledge and expertise to design, build, test and deploy changes to applications and underlying frameworks to deliver business value, meet stakeholder expectations and avoid creating technical debt.
* Apply knowledge of standards, policies and organisational structure so that you can work both independently and collaboratively within your team and with key stakeholders.
* Ensure your team delivers high-quality, maintainable software which adheres to internal standards and policies through the quality of your own work.
* Collaborate with others by providing informal guidance and sharing knowledge with colleagues to enable them to contribute to the team’s objectives.
* Support the evaluation and resolution of technical challenges and blockers to minimise their impact on the team’s delivery and/or supported products.
* Embrace and support improvements and innovation in technologies/practices within your team that would benefit the business (e.g., efficiency in the software development process or improved customer experience).
What you will bring to the role / Qualifications
* .NET (C#) developer with extensive experience of .NET Core and an interest in the latest tech and architecture (RESTful APIs, cloud, containerisation and NoSQL approaches).
* Experience in an Agile development and/or DevOps environment, embracing automation in testing and use of CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
* Knowledge and experience applying best practice engineering principles for design, build, test and deployment.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills, ability to build relationships, influence others, and respond well to challenges.
* Strong work ethic with ability to manage conflicting priorities.
* Curious, continuous learner who investigates and grasps new concepts.
