Your newpanyThis HR / ER advisor role is a fixed term contract up until March 2027. You’ll be joining a large,plex organisation with a strong focus on people, culture, and operational excellence. The business is fast‑paced and oue‑driven, offering a supportive Human Resources function that partners closely with leaders to manage risk, improve engagement, and deliver pragmatic people solutions.
Your new role
1. As an Employment Relations specialist, you will provide expert, end‑to‑end ER advice to managers across the business.
2. You’ll manage a high volume ofplex and fast‑moving ER cases (15+ at any one time), including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and employee conduct matters.
3. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring cases are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with employment law and internal policy.
4. You’ll contribute to improving ER processes, coaching managers to build capability and confidence, and supporting organisational change where required.
What you'll need to succeed
5. Proven experience in an HR or Employment Relations role within a fast‑paced environment
6. Demonstrable experience managing a high‑volume ER caseload (15+ concurrent cases)
7. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and best practice
8. Confidence advising and influencing managers at all levels
9. Excellent case management, prioritisation, and stakeholder management skills
10. A pragmatic,mercially minded approach with strong attention to detail
11. CIPD qualification (or working towards) would be desirable.
