Service Coordinator Havant, Hampshire Permanent, full time Salary 23-28k DOE Our client, Furuno (UK) Ltd, part of the Furuno Electric Company group is a world leader in marine electronics. They provide services for a range of markets including commercial and deep-sea fishing, yachts and superyachts, land and marine based security, and safety and environmental systems. They are also supplying marine equipment including radar, sonar, fish finders, GPS and navigational instruments. They are now looking for an independent, motivated and self-driven Se rvice Coordinator to join their team in Havant, Hampshire. Reporting to the Service Coordination Manager you will be expected to take ownership and provide exceptional coordination for the repair of a variety products across a variety of vessels around the globe. Service Coordinator, your role: Organising the attendance of Furuno trained engineers to vessels and sites around the world to undertake installation, repair, and support of the company products Responsible for the end-to-end process - from initial customer contact, through quoting, follow up and amendments, acceptance of orders and delivery of services and ultimately closing of jobs and invoicing within the company systems Identifying and recording common faults and taking responsibility for incoming service requests Providing accurate feedback on coordinated works undertaken to customers Working with the Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to implement support services for new products and ensure high quality aftersales service Assisting in the implementation of procedures to ensure accurate recording and management of all department functions Building strong relationships with new and existing customers, parent companies, International and UK Dealers Ensuring the highest possible customer satisfaction for the Furuno brand across the world Service Coordinator, perfect applicant: Minimum 3 years experience in a customer facing product support or coordination role A good standard of general education: A-levels or equivalent would be ideal Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal In depth understanding of technical documentation and administrative applications Outstanding organisational and multitasking skills Technically minded in providing exceptional level of customer service and support Ability to build long term relationships with both existing and new customers New business development and structuring workflow procedures would be beneficial A working knowledge of commercial marine equipment and understanding of compliance procedures within the industry desired Service Coordinator, the benefits: Annual leave of 33 days including bank holidays Employer matched pension contributions Life Insurance Access to company healthcare scheme Free on-site parking Pure Human Resources Limited work in partnership with Furuno (UK) Ltd in providing HR support.
