Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Primary Purpose
To assemble component parts of connectors as per work instructions/specifications or to a qualified standard to minimize defects. To work as a member of a team and assist in the smooth running of the department to meet required output.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
1. Understand and work according to TE Connectivity documented departmental fundamental rules and company procedures.
2. Maintain required standards in the assembling of connectors while ensuring good housekeeping disciplines.
3. Aim to reach the required standard of times as documented in the process routing and achieve departmental efficiency targets.
4. Develop self-discipline and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
5. Work harmoniously as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
6. Maintain quality, efficiency, and housekeeping to the required standards.
What Your Background Should Look Like:
* Previous soldering/electronics assembly experience.
* Ability to understand technical drawings and follow work instructions.
* Practical mechanical aptitude demonstrated through experience or skills.
* Good communication skills to advise on process technical improvements.
* Reliability and willingness to work additional hours when requested.
