Tennial Personnel are recruiting for a driven and target-focused Sales Associate to join our client on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role is Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (37 hours per week), offering £14.00 – £16.00 per hour depending on experience, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.

This role is best suited to someone with a strong sales mentality, who is confident in generating new business, handling objections, and closing deals. You will be responsible for promoting a range of services including commercial cleaning, parking solutions, and printing services, with a clear focus on revenue generation and hitting targets.
You will operate as part of a growing sales function, reporting directly to the Head of Operations, and will play a key role in driving business growth through proactive sales activity.
The role offers a flexible structure of one day per week in the office, four days remote, alongside regular client visits. However, this is a highly proactive sales role, requiring consistent outbound activity including warm and cold calling, email outreach, and face-to-face meetings.
There is strong potential for progression into a Sales Leadership position for high performers.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively generate new business through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking
Convert leads into sales through effective questioning, objection handling, and closing techniques
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing deals
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
Attend client meetings to present services and secure new business
Prepare and deliver quotations and proposals
Maintain accurate CRM records and track all sales activity
Consistently work towards and exceed sales targets
Build long-term relationships to maximise repeat business

Qualifications Required
Essential: Previous experience in a customer service or customer-facing role
Desirable: Previous experience in a sales, business development, or target-driven role
Experience working towards KPIs or targets is highly advantageous
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel for client meetings
Ability to work independently and take ownership of results
