What you will be working on: Media and Influencer Relations Prepare and keep up to date accurate, relevant media distribution lists Build media relationships across consumer lifestyle, mainstream and specialist outlets relevant to client base Research influencers relevant to the client Draft media releases, including research, writing and editing Monitor and report on client and industry media activity ensuring media coverage is provided in the best quality and as quickly as possible Plan and carry out media research and advise team on relevant opportunities for clients in consultation with account executives / account managers Participate in brainstorms to generate story ideas Digital/Social Monitor and report on client, industry and competitor social media activity Event Management Assist with event management including research, venue, catering, talent selection and management The Basics Liaise and attend meetings with clients, media, prospective clients and internal teams (Red Havas and the broader HKX Village) where applicable Produce meeting reports noting actions and ensuring appropriate interaction and follow up Maintain and update client, media and supplier databases Assist with the design and content of documents and proposals Participate as an active and interested team member, providing support to colleagues and taking every opportunity presented to learn and develop the 'art of consulting' including approach, response, message and knowledge delivery Ensure refreshments, tech and meeting prep is completed, supporting the team Skills we’re looking for Written communication for Press releases, case studies, briefing documents, fact packs, biographies, WIP notes, media invitations and social copy Organisation skills Project management skills Creativity and openness to share creative ideas Has a finger on the pulse of the news, is clued up on culture, celebrity and trends Interpersonal skills and relationship development On the Platform programme, you'll benefit from: HR Benefits Free breakfast in the office Wellbeing and mental health support Yulife - wellbeing app Gym discount Employee assistance programme Training and Development sessions Communication Productivity Career Development Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Networking Industry Insights Group Projects We work in a hybrid working model – in office and remotely Office Location: Rhodesia House, 52 Princess St, Manchester M1 6JX Contract Type : Intern Here at Havas across the group we pride ourselves on being committed to offering equal opportunities to all potential employees and have zero tolerance for discrimination.
