Salary: up to £25,000
Hours: 07:45 – 16:30(16:15 on a Friday) – 9 day fortnight, every 2nd Friday OFF (Paid)

Job Purpose
To ensure the safety, security, and compliance of the site by supervising and escorting visitors, contractors, or non-cleared personnel while they are on site. The role is responsible for ensuring all visitors follow site rules, remain within authorised areas, and comply with all security procedures at all times.

About the role
What you’ll do:
1. Welcome and receive all visitors to the site, ensuring they are correctly hosted and not allowed to move unescorted where security clearance requires.
2. Liaise with Front of House/Reception colleagues, the site security office, and the service requestor to deliver a site chaperone service in line with security requirements.
3. Ensure all vehicles used in providing the chaperone service are maintained, clean, and in excellent operational condition, reporting any defects to the line manager.
4. Assist mobility-impaired visitors with transportation and access on, off, and around the site.
5. Remain with and maintain line of sight of person(s) under chaperone until they are safely delivered to, and under the escort of, suitably security-cleared personnel or the designated visitor host.
6. Provide additional support through chaperone services to enable EMCOR to undertake maintenance, projects, or tasks that enhance the overall contract service provision.
7. Carry out all reasonable tasks that may be requested from time to time by the client or EMCOR management.
8. Deliver site chaperone services in line with contract Service Hallmarks and the Customer Service Policy
Who you’ll be:
9. Customer service experience and excellent communication skills.
10. Personable approach and the ability to work as part of a team.
11. A full UK Driving licence is essential for this role.
12. The ability to hold the relevant security clearance.
