Our client is a highly successful and growing business that has been established over 50 years with a turnover of circa £20 million, offices based in Twickenham.
Job Description
As the Management Accountant based from Twickenham you will be responsible for:Management Accounts*Produce monthly Headline EBITDA figures in a timely manner using Excel*Accurate monthly Management accounts/EBITDA in timely manner using Excel. *Preparation for Finance Director review and discussions*Management Accounts fully supported by balance sheet*Post monthly Management Account journals. Accruals, prepayments etc*Investigating unexpected stock variances in Cost of Sales*Executive commentary on financial results*Reporting to and working closely with Finance DirectorDaily/Monthly Reconciling*Manage general ledger accounts including accruals, prepayments*Maintenance and reconciliation of the fixed asset register*Daily stock reconciliation report and investigating differences*Reconcile and maintain all stock nominals including GRNI,*Daily Cash Sales reconciling for 5 sites, liaise with contacts *Daily processing including posting of all bank receipts and payments and preparing bank reconciliations.*Monthly VAT reconcilingAd Hoc duties*Providing various financial information to Finance Director*Responsible for month end close of all modules*Providing support to other members of the finance team.*Preparation of quarterly VAT return*Responsible for managing import declarations *Preparation of information for annual audit*Remaining forward thinking and suggesting improvements to processes
