Position: Air Play Youth Engagement Worker Pay: £13.90 per hour Location: RAF Marham Contract Type: Fixed Term until 16th December 2027 Hours per week: 4.5 hours per week Term Time Only (38 weeks) ​ Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives? Join YMCA Norfolk as a Youth Engagement Worker and help create vibrant, inclusive youth clubs where young people feel safe, supported, and inspired to thrive. ​ ​ About the role ​ You’ll be at the heart of our youth club provision—delivering fun, engaging, and meaningful sessions that empower young people to grow in confidence, build friendships, and develop life skills. From creative activities to sports, group discussions to mentoring moments—you’ll help shape experiences that young people genuinely want to be part of. Working closely with our Station Leader and wider team, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where every young person is listened to, valued and encouraged to reach their potential. ​ What you'll be doing ​ Deliver exciting evening youth sessions packed with activities and opportunities Build strong, trusted relationships with young people and their families Encourage participation, confidence, and positive decision-making Support young people to have a voice and actively shape their club experience Work as part of a supportive, energetic team Promote equality, respect and inclusion at all times Help develop future peer mentors and volunteers ​ What we're looking for ​ We’re looking for someone who: ​ Has a genuine passion for working with young people Can plan and deliver engaging activities that young people love Is a great communicator with strong interpersonal skills Is positive, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Understands safeguarding and puts young people’s wellbeing first Experience in youth work is great, but your enthusiasm, energy, and commitment are what really matter most. ​ Further information can be found at – ​ Youth Engagement Worker (AirPlay) Job Description ​ The Organisation At YMCA Norfolk we are hope filled, inspiring and empowering.
