We seek a Data Manager to join our digital community, leading a transformation of government services using innovative technologies to build scalable, user-centric digital solutions used nationwide.
This role involves making sense of workforce data, integrating data from different systems, cleaning, and analyzing it to support strategic and operational decisions. You'll work with data from various sources, including People Management Information systems and recruitment tools, ensuring data quality and clarity.
Once data is prepared, you'll analyze to identify patterns and trends, contributing to projects like the Digital Workforce Plan and GDaD returns, and responding swiftly to ad hoc data requests. Collaboration with colleagues across Digital is key, along with experimenting with dashboards and new reporting tools.
Ideal candidates will be confident handling large, complex datasets, skilled in visualization and communication, capable of explaining insights clearly, and adept at building relationships with stakeholders.
Location options include Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and Sheffield, with a hybrid work model (40% in-office, 60% remote).
