Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with their client on a fantastic Fundraising Events & Partnerships Officer role. This position involves leading impactful fundraising events and forging strong community and corporate partnerships to support the organisation’s mission and drive income growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, coordinate, and evaluate fundraising events such as Sleep Easy, Golf Day, dinners, and supporter gatherings.
2. Manage all event elements, including budgeting, risk assessments, logistics, promotion, and execution.
3. Track fundraising expenditure, ensuring all funds raised and donations are accurately recorded against set budgets.
4. Support challenge event participants to maximise their fundraising efforts.
5. Develop and nurture relationships with local businesses, organisations, schools, churches, and community groups to enhance engagement and income.
6. Steward existing supporters and cultivate new relationships through innovative fundraising ideas and strategic collaborations.
7. Negotiate donations, prizes, and volunteer opportunities, including gifts in kind.
8. Research and approach prospective partners for community fundraising initiatives and partnership opportunities.
9. Deliver engaging presentations to diverse community audiences to promote fundraising activities.
