Job Description
* As Technical Quality Manager you will Oversee and manage technical issues across the Durham Production site and at Customer locations across the UK.
* You will investigate customer complaints thoroughly, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
* You will act as the primary decision maker on internal technical and quality issues.
* Provide guidance and support to the internal quality technicians fostering skill development and ensuring high performance.
* As Technical Quality Manager you will oversee the calibration of equipment to ensure accuracy and adherence to the standards.
* Support internal and external sales teams with customer traceability audits.
* You will oversee the glass & brittle materials audit process to ensure safety and compliance.
* As Technical Quality Manager you will conduct customer visits to address quality concerns, build relationships and foster collaboration.
* You will provide the customers with detailed technical reports offering tailored options and solutions to address the issues.
* You will work with Denmark, Internal and external sales to redesign tools to resolve issues enhancing product performance.
* As Technical Quality Manager you will ensure compliance with ISO and BRC standards conducting audits and maintaining certification at the Durham site.
* You will collaborate with the production team to monitor and improve both extrusion and thermoforming processes.
* You will act as the technical liaison with customers, addressing quality concerns and ensuring satisfaction
* You will be driving continuous improvement initiatives in Quality across the operation.
* As Technical Quality Manager you will support training of the team in technical and quality standards.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in Thermoforming CPET trays and extrusion of CPET sheets.
* Knowledge of ISO and BRC standards and experience conducting audits
* Proven ability to investigate complex quality and technical issues
* Excellent communication skills for customer and internal team collaboration.
* Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
