Job Description
1. Leadership and Management:
o Lead the technology team in the India Delivery Center, ensuring alignment with the company's global strategy and objectives.
o Manage relationships with service providers, including the company and third-party vendors, to ensure high-quality service delivery.
o Collaborate with the company's global technology teams to implement and maintain technology standards and best practices.
2. Service Management:
o Oversee end-user support services to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
o Manage application support services to maintain the availability and performance of critical business applications.
o Ensure laptop support services are efficient and meet the needs of the team in India.
o Implement and manage IT security measures to protect the technology environments in India from threats and vulnerabilities.
3. Strategic Planning:
o Develop and execute technology strategies that support the business objectives of the India Delivery Center.
o Identify opportunities for technology improvements and innovations to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
o Work with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with the overall goals of the organisation.
4. Operational Excellence:
o Monitor and report on the performance of technology services, ensuring they meet established service level agreements (SLAs).
o Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of technology services.
o Ensure compliance with the company's global IT policies and standards.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
o Engage with key stakeholders, including company's leadership, business unit leaders, and service providers, to understand their needs and expectations.
o Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on technology initiatives and service performance.
The Successful Applicant
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related
field. A Master's degree is preferred.
* Extensive experience in IT management, with a focus on service delivery and
vendor management.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of IT support services, application support, laptop support,
and IT security.
* Experience working in a global organization and managing cross-functional
teams.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with the company's technology platforms and services.
* Familiarity with the regulatory and compliance requirements in India.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
