The Business area:
We are on a mission to deliver a market-leading, modern, and self-managed investment offering to LBG customers. The first direct-to-customer investment product was launched in late Feb 2023, marking the start of an exciting roadmap of new products and enhancements. We aim to reinvigorate and enhance our intermediary proposition under Scottish Widows and grow this sector alongside existing white-label propositions. Investment in modern digital technology will improve advisor experience and ease of doing business with us.

JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer
SALARY: £47,790 - £50,444
LOCATION(S): Leeds, Edinburgh, Dundee, or London
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) at one of the specified locations

As a Quality Engineer in our Intermediary Wealth lab, you will help drive our business forward and achieve our ambition to become a top 3 market player.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping our product development, working collaboratively to design, build, test, and deploy using innovative technology. You will work with team members, partners, and third parties to create motivated, empowered teams that solve business problems and deliver value to customers.
Here's how you’ll make a difference:
* Develop and extend frameworks, templates, and test scripts
* Understand and write test data requirements, collaborating with external teams across the value stream
* Write detailed Test Scopes, Test Plans, and End of Test Reports to evidence software quality
* Help decide what to monitor and alert for new functionalities

What you'll need
* Experience in Quality Engineering, preferably with applications like Trove, Figaro, FNZ Platforms. Experience with testing, integration, or introducing third-party packages/tools is also valuable.
* Experience working in a collaborative environment with a proven track record of delivering business value through engineering methods and principles.
* Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and non-Agile quality practices.
* Technical skills in ALM, SQL, Xray, and Data Analysis.
