Role
* Understanding project briefs and designing/specifying all Electrical Building Services systems.
* Design and specification of electrical systems including power, earthing, lighting, life safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts, lightning protection, etc.
* Producing detailed calculations using industry-standard software such as Excel, Dialux, Amtech, and in-house tools, managing others as needed.
* Representing the organization at meetings with clients and contractors.
* Conducting site surveys, inspections, and monitoring site works.
* Writing reports and technical notes.
* Maintaining complete records and archives according to company standards.
* Ensuring adherence to quality, environmental, and governance processes.
Qualifications / Experience
* Degree or equivalent in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
* Chartered Engineer with CIBSE or IET, or working towards this qualification.
* Proficiency in digital tools such as CAD, Amtech, Relux, and Microsoft Office.
* Experience in a design consultancy or contractor design environment is essential.
* Detailed knowledge of relevant technical standards.
