ICT Technician
Permanent, Full time: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, with out of hours on-call flexibility as required.
The role: The IT Technician will assist in operating the IT Service Desk, identifying, resolving, and documenting issues as they arise. You will be responsible for delivering friendly user support for students and staff, including first and second line support for IT hardware, software, and network issues, and preparing devices for new users.
The skills: This role suits someone who wants to work in a unique environment. You should have experience in a similar role, with strong helpdesk skills and excellent customer relationship abilities. You will enjoy problem-solving and continuous improvement of departmental expertise and effectiveness. You will work within a friendly team, in a setting surrounded by historic buildings, and be an active part of our vibrant school community.
The environment: Harrow School is located on a beautiful site in Harrow on the Hill, northwest London. With around 835 boys, the school supports thousands of users including pupils, teachers, parents, and staff from the wider school community. The IT department manages an extensive fibre optic network connecting over a hundred buildings across a 324-acre historic estate.
