MET Technician – Dartford, Kent Join a Family-Run, Fleet Crash Repair Workshop Business

Duties of this MET Technician role:
1. Removal of damaged parts to allow repairs to take place.
2. Ensuring displaced parts are stored correctly and safely for refitting.
3. Checking for additional damage and any additional parts that may be required, bringing these items to the attention of the Vehicle Damage Assessor and ordering the additional parts.
4. Checking all the parts are here, and are correct to enable smooth travel through the vehicle repair journey.
5. Once the vehicle has been repaired and painted, you then refit the vehicle, taking care and attention not to damage freshly painted panels and ensuring panel gaps are true and within manufacturers tolerances.
6. As part of the position you may also be required to replace mechanical components of the steering, drivetrain and engine.
7. Reset vehicle Control Units using diagnostic equipment.
8. Ensures that all health and safety legislation and internal procedures are followed.
9. Attends regular safety training to review work safety rules.
10. Ensures the maintenance of tools, equipment, and other materials.
You’ll be working in a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to delivering outstanding service for our customers.
Hours and Pay:
11. Hours: 7am - 4pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week No weekend work!)
12. Pay: £20 - £24 Per Hour DOE + quarterly bonus
