A leading food manufacturer are seeking a Technical Assistant to join their technical & food safety team. This role will focus on food safety, supplier approval, quality, and customer communication, this role is perfect for someone who is eager to develop their career within food safety and technical.
Salary £25,000 to £32,000 plus Benefits
What You Will Do:
* Build a sound knowledge of key categories and support the team in monitoring and managing quality issues on-site.
* Update and maintain produce specifications, ensuring compliance with technical systems and standards.
* Assist with projects, product assessments, benchmarking, sampling, supplier approval.
* Develop skills to create, present, and maintain reports and analytical data for key meetings and complaint investigations.
* Conduct store visits to report on complaints, issues, and general store compliance information.
* Support packaging and internal artwork projects, as well as reports, internal compliance, and audit actions.
What You Will Bring:
* A Food Graduate or experience working within food manufacturing across Technical & Quality.
* Understanding of Food Safety, BRCGS and other related food standards.
* Confidence in communication and excellent IT skills.
* Knowledge of legal and environmental regulations within food manufacturing.
* Flexibility to travel both within the UK and overseas as required.
